Q1: How did Spring Creek Church begin?

A: Spring Creek Church began in a bakery in Boerne, Texas. With eight people asking the questions, "How can we express the message of God's love in a contemporary culture?" Spring Creek Church grew out of a heart for people. The church held its first worship service on September 20, 1998, at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Crown Ridge and moved into its present location near Fair Oaks Ranch in the spring of 2002.

Q2: What are the weekend services like?

A: Spring Creek Church creatively communicates the message of God's love in an understandable way. During our weekend services, you'll find a blend of both contemporary and traditional music, creative communication and practical messages that can be easily understood and applied to your daily life.  Rev. Mike Cave uses humor, stories, and common language to communicate a message that is both relevant and meaningful. The service lasts between 60 and 75 minutes.

Q3: Will I have to say anything, sign anything, give anything, or be singled out in any way?

A: In short, "No." Giving to the offering is a responsibility and privilege of those who are a part of the Spring Creek family. It is our aim to make you feel welcome and comfortable, and so we won't single you out in any way.

We would like to be able to write you a note to thank you for being our guest, so we ask for you to stop by our information table and fill out a guest card or fill out the attendance pad on your row. But there is not pressure to do so. We will only use this information so that we can get more information about Spring Creek Church back to you.

Q4. What about my children?

A: While you are enjoying worship service, your children are being well cared for in a safe and clean age-appropriate environment. Both our nursery and children's department are staffed with loving people who want to encourage your children. Spring Creek Church wants your children to be safe and happy.

Our purpose is to develop people who have hearts that are habitually filled with love of God and neighbor. Click here for more information about our mission, vision, and values.
